Techniques

The techniques all revolve around using ropes, pulleys and carabineers. These essential basic items allow a professional tech to surmount almost any obstacle whether it is a 1000 ft cliff, a 1000 ft cave, a blast furnace, distillation unit or cat cracker. techs are able to see the escape routes in each obstacle and then plan using their tools on how best to package and extract the injured person, whether they are conscious or not.

Rope Situations

Confined Space  you can have a horizontal , vertical or angled either up or down.
High Angle  can also have many variances in technique, depending upon height, surrounding structures, angle of decent, and whether the high angle has a confined that needs to take place before evacuating the patient from the height.
the differences can be swift water vs still water such as a lake, height from the water, a few feet vs dozens of feet.
